Getaround

Getaround’s technology enables any car owner to transform their vehicle into an on-demand rental car. I led user engagement at the national level and acquisition at the local level, including executing campaigns, building and managing teams, and developing scaleable programs. Results included:

  • Managed 500k local marketing budget and attained ROI that was cost-competitive with national online advertising campaigns.
  • Acquired thousands of new users through sponsored emails and posts and other online ads.
  • Managed and optimized user activation email programs to increase activation rates by over 250%.
  • Increased email engagement by introducing A/B testing and gender segmentation.
  • Built street marketing program with 40 people; defined strategy, developed collateral, and hired, trained and directed local managers. Generated over 2000 leads at CPA targets.
  • Developed scalable marketing programs and authored comprehensive playbooks.
  • Increased app downloads by optimizing app stores and adding CTAs to all marketing and product messaging.

ChargePoint

ChargePoint is the market leader in electric vehicle charging hardware and software. I was responsible primarily for product, channel and email marketing programs targeting both consumers and businesses, and also contributed to lead gen campaigns.

Product and Channel Marketing

  • Served as PMM for industry leading mobile app and electric vehicle charging solution
  • Led go-to-market campaign that resulted in a 23% increase in new users compared to monthly average, including developing messaging and strategic positioning, and creating promo promo video and email
  • Worked closely with Product Management to manage new hardware and software launches
  • Authored multiple case studies, brochures, sell sheets and other collateral
  • Tracked competitive landscape and provided Sales with tools and training for competitor selling that received substantial recognition up to the executive level
  • Managed all channel marketing promotional campaigns and communications
  • Provided marketing support to partners, including a new a partner portal

Email Marketing and Communications

  • Upgraded email marketing programs to include split testing and responsive, mobile-friendly templates, resulting in a 67% increase in engagement and 34% increase in open rates
  • Authored, designed and coded email newsletters sent to over 120,000 EV drivers, station owners and channel partners
  • Created emails and landing pages for targeted lead gen campaigns

PPC Advertising

  • Set up Google Analytics Goals and synced with AdWords account in order to test and optimize  more effectively
  • Created new targeted campaigns in order to shift resources into most critical markets
  • Increased qualified leads in key markets by 300%

Piqora

Piqora is a Social Analytics/SaaS startup that provides a marketing suite for Pinterest and Instagram.

The first marketing hire, I was responsible for content creation and design (e-books, case studies, research studies, videos, etc) and lead gen campaigns via email, social media, the blog, PR and advertising.

  • Implemented new content and email marketing program that generated 1200 targeted leads monthly on average
  • Authored whitepapers, guides, research reports and case studies to double the content library to fifteen pieces of collateral
  • Conceptualized and created content, specs and wireframe for our website Resource Center, the first in Piqora’s industry niche; it generated 28% of web leads
  • Worked with engineering team to develop research studies that were covered in industry pubs including TechCrunch, AdWeek and VentureBeat
